Lee Bul is a South Korean artist creating sculptural installations that depict the progress of humanity. She flawlessly shapes science fiction fantasies out of crystal and glass. Among her works are humanoid female figures hanging from the ceiling, chandelier-like floating castles, cyborgs, pods and silicon monsters. Lee’s pieces involve the audience being places into her artwork.
