Astrid Krogh is a professional designer born in 1968 in Strellev, Denmark. She studied at the Design School of Denmark (Textile Department) and the Institute for Product Design. She works with the artistic potentials found in modern materials and new technologies giving them new functional and decorative possibilities to create miraculous forms, lights and colours. Working with light, both daylight and artificial one, is essential to her activity. Astrid Krogh’s work represents the moment of change and surprise; the work is always interacting with the viewer’s own movements.
