Kathryn Welch – Stained Glass Art

Kathryn Welch is a self-taught stained glass artist based in San Marcos, Texas. Having studied and practiced various art forms and music over the years, she settled on stained glass several years ago, and now she creates original stained glass art at her own studio. Kathryn likes to use non-glass materials in her work, including wood, metal or wire, stones, beads etc. She often employs back-lighting, like in these pictures, giving them the added ability to be hung as wall art.
