For the last 11 years, Lane Barrington, has been recording and performing as The Ocean Floor with his friends. They create music of shifting ideas and moods; a continuous flow of images and tiny glimpses of love. The songs are mostly built around the drums and percussive elements, with the core instruments such as violin, clarinet, upright bass and Wurlitzer, layered over some beautiful parts of the song. The sound is inventive and purely beautiful.
