Brandon Taelor Aviram is a fashion photographer based in New York City. He studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology to improve his fervent exploration of digital and film photography. Brandon has an emotional and classic style, evoking the deep connection distinctly formed between him and his subjects. For him black and white has a way of portraying raw emotion better than colours. He does retouching and music videos too – his passion is taking a moment that would be fleeting and giving it a lasting place in time, whether it is in a film or in a photograph. Retouching adds exquisite depth to photography. For Brandon, all these aspects are part of a whole. “It’s about the vision in its entirety, and what will best capture each individual moment. So I cultivate any skill that will help me do that,” he says.
