Holly Ward Bimba is a Virginia-based artist behind Golly Bard. She received her BFA from Syracuse University, where she studied the fine art of printmaking, papermaking, and book arts. Her favorite medium is watercolor and gouache. Moving to the Virginia countryside, surrounded by woods and fields, taking long walks and observing the tiny details in nature, reading countless novels and art monographs, has all jumbled together to shape her quirky artwork.
