These incredible large-scale macramé works are created by American fibers artist Sally England. Using her hands as a tool, her works bring new regard to an age-old technique steeped in nostalgia. She grew up in the Michigan countryside surrounded by forests, fields and lakes, where she found her inspiration and affection for using natural materials. After pursuing an MFA in Applied Craft & Design in Portland, Oregon, Sally returned to her home state of Michigan where she has a studio inside of an old Victorian flat.
