John Jerome O’Connor is an American artist born in 1972. He creates large-scale abstract drawings on paper made with coloured pencil, graphite and pens. Creating individual abstract forms, patterns and shapes, he transforms information through them. Information used in the drawings includes the Prophesies of Nostradamus, personal blood pressure readings, census reports, etc. John J. O’Connor is strongly influenced by the music and art of John Cage.
