Laura Makabresku is a Polish visual artist and photographer. She captures bizarre moments from beautiful but cruel fairy tales full of witchcraft and retributions. Imagery is more like feeling than just a visual object. Laura’s world is inhabited by animals, birds, monsters and people in masks. It seems that the artist is fascinated by death. But in her land death is somehow liberating; it is like a good dream in which we search for eternity and peace. We are reminded that death is always within us but there is nothing to be scared of.
