Treehotel of Sweden: Sleep in Nature

Treehotel - a mirrorcube

Some of Scandinavia’s leading architects such as Mårten & Gustav Cyrén as well as Martin Videgård and Bolle Tham have designed the Treehotel, which is located in Harads, a village in the northern part of Sweden with only 600 inhabitants. Treehotel was inspired by the film “The Tree Lover” directed by Jonas Selberg Augustsen. It’s a tale of three men from the city who want to go back to their roots by building a tree house together. The project is really awe-inspiring and attractive. It offers high-standard accommodation in a harmonious space where guests can relax and renew their energy. The hotel consists of five tree-rooms. More rooms will be completed in 2013. Each room is unique with both its architecture and interior design. The rooms are located 4-6 meters above the ground, sharing the magnificent views of the surrounding natural environment. A very important part of its concept is to consider ecological values and make minimal environmental impact.
