Noell S. Oszvald – Surreal Self-Portraits
While looking at these stunning pictures by Noell S. Oszvald, it is hard to believe that she started taking photos a little over a year ago. She lives and works in Budapest, Hungary. Noell takes elegant, surreal self-portraits. Her works show an accomplished grasp of composition, editing and digital manipulation. She tends to work only in black and white because she finds color distracting from her conceptual ideas. The atmosphere in her compositions is incredibly powerful and haunting. She never really writes any descriptions other than titles, because she wants the viewers to be free finding their own meaning and interpretation of each image. Reading so many different thoughts about the same piece of work is very interesting for the gifted artist.
